Prevent project problems before the contract is signed.
Contact to Contract
(formerly "Lead to Launch")
A six-week program that helps interior designers create smoother, easier-to-lead projects by improving everything that happens before the client says yes.
Project problems are visible after the contract is signed... but their seeds were often planted before it. If your clients regularly misunderstand the scope, resist policies, delay approvals, ignore advice, or expect work that was never included, this is for you.
If smoother, easier-to-lead projects are the goal, then a solid pre-contract journey is the prescription. 💊
Designers are taught to attract a client, sign a contract, and do the project.
But what about the important middle?
Setting expectations, explaining how the process works, clarifying responsibilities, and getting genuine client buy-in before the project begins?
Contact to Contract helps you define the service, process, responsibilities, boundaries, and expectations before the client agrees to them.
The result: Less confusion, stronger boundaries, smoother projects, and more confidence leading the work.
What will you build?
Over six intensive weeks, you’ll create a clear, repeatable process that helps prospective clients understand what they’re agreeing to—and how to be great project partners!
#1: BEFORE THEY INQUIRE
→ Make your offer easier to understand.
Clarify your services, price signals, FAQs, contact page, and inquiry form so prospects can understand what you offer and evaluate whether it is right for them.
#2: BEFORE YOU RECOMMEND
→ Diagnose before you prescribe.
Strengthen your discovery call and consultation process so you can understand what the client needs, spot potential problems, and confidently recommend the right service.
#3: BEFORE THEY SIGN
→ Define the conditions for project success.
Create a proposal and agreement that clearly establish the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, policies, boundaries, and expectations before the client commits.
Together, these tools become a client journey that prepares the client, the project, and you for success.
Is Contact to Contract for you?
Yes, if:
- Clients often seem confused or surprised during projects.
- You spend too much time chasing answers and approvals.
- Clients sign without fully understanding the service.
- Scope, responsibilities, or next steps regularly need re-explaining.
- Policies and boundaries become visible only after someone crosses them.
- Projects require too much reminding, correcting, reassuring, and renegotiating.
- You want clients to sign informed, aligned, and ready to participate.
